Global political situations time and again affect energy prices and security of supply. Asphalt-mixing plants are especially affected by rising or fluctuating energy costs. Against this background, Rheinbraun Brennstoff GmbH (RBB) will present innovative energy strategies that are based on lignite energy pulverized (LEP) at the Asphaltica in Verona from 8 to 11 May 2014.
Under the product name „lignite energy pulverized“ dried and milled lignite is marketed Europe-wide by Rheinbraun Brennstoff GmbH (RBB), a subsidiary of RWE Power AG. Lignite energy pulverized is an attractively priced substitute for fuel oil, natural gas and heavy oil. The price advantage has made LEP the undisputed market leader among Germany’s operators of asphalt-mixing plants. Already, more than 80 percent of all asphalt-mixing plants in Germany and roughly 1,000 plants in Europe are operated with LEP.
Lignite energy pulverized offers features plant operators cannot find anywhere else: predictable prices, investment security, flexible supply and long-term availability. Rheinbraun Brennstoff GmbH delivers the fuel at a fixed price agreed in advance and concludes long-term contracts with customers. Energy-price fluctuations are thus a thing of the past and operators of asphalt-mixing plants gain a dependable costing basis, giving them the planning certainty they need.
