High quality at an amazingly reasonable price – the German magazine Car & Hifi (issue 04, 2015) awards Xzent’s new 2-DIN moniceiver X-202BT the „Price tip“ accolade.
In March 2015 the multimedia specialist Xzent brought out its new in-car entertainment system, the X-202BT. The German magazine Car & Hifi (issue 04, 2015) has now put the 2-DIN moniceiver thorough its paces – and is enthusiastic: „For just under 280 Euro the X-202BT offers the full range of entertainment, including Bluetooth, and good quality at a low price.“ On account of its of its „outstanding price/performance“, the X-202BT was rewarded with the „Price tip“ accolade from Car & Hifi.
Car & Hifi praised the diversity of features and media of the superbly equipped X-202BT: Beside the CD/DVD drive and FM tuner, the Xzent plays music and videos from SD memory cards, or via the USB connection. All the common formats are supported, including AAC and FLAC – picture and sound quality give no cause for criticism.“
The Bluetooth section of the X-202BT impressed the testers, from the easy operation via the large 6.2″/15.7 cm touchscreen display to the „good speech quality of the hands-free calling.“ Moreover, the X-202BT allows the connection of three mobile phones, and also brings the convenience of audio streaming via A2DP.
As for sound, Xzent’s new multimedia package is convincing. „The audio equipment with bass and treble controls, subwoofer level and crossover, loudness, balance and fader, offers all the important features.“ In addition, there are five preamp outputs for the connection of external amplifiers. Rounding off the list of features are A/V inputs and outputs, as well as a connection for a rear-view camera.
„The Xzent performs in the lab and in the field without showing any weakness. Measurements are in the green zone, and it is very easy to operate“, is the conclusion reached by the tech journalists of Car & Hifi. „The Xzent X-202BT brings a full range of entertainment into any vehicle with a double DIN installation slot, and offers high quality at an amazingly reasonable price.“
